2. What is sold
- Unique Jewelry — a single, finished antique piece, sold as described in its own record.
- Collections — a contemporary setting in 18k gold made to order around a documented antique element, to the specification you choose: size or wrist, fitting, inscription and the name printed in the passport.
3. Price and currency
Prices are shown in the currency of the version of the site you visit: euros in Spain and the rest of the European Union, pounds sterling in the United Kingdom and US dollars in the United States. The total shown before you send a commission is the amount of the payment link.
- Within the European Union the price includes VAT and insured delivery. Where the special scheme for antiques applies (REBU, Ley 37/1992), the invoice is issued without a separate VAT breakdown, as that scheme requires.
- For the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland and other destinations, import VAT, duties and taxes at destination are not included and are paid by the buyer; carriage beyond the European Union is quoted with the export authorisation.
4. How the contract is made
- Collections. Sending the commission form does not bind either party and nothing is charged. The workshop confirms the measure and, within one working day, sends a payment link for the total shown, together with these terms and the information on withdrawal in writing. The contract is made when that payment is completed.
- Unique Jewelry. A reservation is free and holds the piece for 24 hours while the purchase is arranged personally. The contract is made when the payment is completed.
5. Payment
By card, through a payment link issued for that commission or piece alone, or by bank transfer. No payment details are entered on this site.
6. Delivery
- A Collections piece is made in two weeks from payment; a clip fitting takes one week more. It travels insured and tracked, and is signed for on arrival.
- Every object over one hundred years old needs a prior authorisation to leave Spain (Ley 16/1985) and, beyond the European Union, an export licence (Regulation (EC) No 116/2009). The workshop prepares it; its time is added to the time above and is given to you before payment.
- Egyptian cultural material is not delivered to the United States, under the bilateral agreement in force.
- The risk of the piece passes to you when it is delivered.
7. Right of withdrawal
Unique Jewelry. If you are a consumer, you may withdraw within fourteen days of delivery without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU and Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). Use the withdrawal form, or write to studio@atelier-numen.com. The refund, including the standard delivery cost, is made within fourteen days of receiving your withdrawal, by the same means of payment, and may be held until the piece is back. The cost of returning it is yours, and the piece must come back insured.
Collections. Every Collections piece is made to your specifications and is therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU; article 103.c of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). This is stated on the commission page, in the acknowledgement and again with the payment link, before anything is paid. The legal guarantee in section 8 applies in full.
8. Conformity and guarantee
Objects must match what their record states. If a piece does not conform to its record, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract, under the three-year legal guarantee (Real Decreto-ley 7/2021). For the first two years, any lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at delivery, and it is the Company’s burden to show otherwise.
What each record states is limited to what can be defended by type and period; it does not promise a find-spot, a named prior owner, or that the piece will increase in value.
9. Disputes
Write first to studio@atelier-numen.com: every complaint is answered within one month. These terms are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim before the courts of your own domicile. The Company is not currently adhered to a consumer arbitration or alternative dispute resolution scheme.
