One guardian, three expressions.
The griffin has always been a fitting figure for an atelier that looks both backward and forward. Across three imagined moments in design history, its character shifts—but its role remains: to keep watch over the hand, the archive and the object.
The engraved beginning.
Our first imagined seal belongs to the age of the cabinet, the bookplate and the maker’s mark. Its griffin is rendered in a dense Victorian hand: ornate, heraldic and patient, as though pressed into the frontispiece of a private catalogue.
A modern geometry.
By 1920, the line is sharpened. Art Déco brings a new order: radiating structure, architectural rhythm and a more graphic griffin. The emblem enters the modern city without giving up its sense of ritual.
A quieter presence.
The present mark returns to essentials: a clear circle, a poised guardian and the name of the atelier. It is designed to live equally well on a document, a box or the smallest detail of a piece made by hand.
